Sunil Khilnani (born New Delhi) is a Professor of Politics and Director of the King's College London India Institute. He is known for writing the book The Idea of India.〔http://www.kcl.ac.uk/aboutkings/worldwide/global/indiainstitute/people/sunilkhilnani/index.aspx〕 He was a 2010 Berlin Prize Fellow. ==Life== Khilnani was born in New Delhi and grew up on the continents of Africa, Europe and Asia. He earned a first at Trinity Hall, Cambridge, and PhD at King’s College, Cambridge.
